Safe Supportive Sober Housing

Mankato Sober Housing is an establishment of Beyond Brink , a nonprofit organization located in Mankato, Minnesota. The mission of the Mankato Sober Housing is to provide safe, supportive, and sober housing for those who are self motivated to improve their lives through the process of recovery. Our goal is to offer support, structure and resources that encourage long term recovery to those who are transitioning back into the community. 


The Mankato Sober House for Women opened its doors October 15th, 2017 serving 6 individual adult women. As we continue to grow it is our goal to offer a simuliar housing option for adult males and eventually transitional housing for women and children.


Our purpose is to empower individuals who desire to maintain long term recovery by helping to overcome barriers. 

Our mission is to assist individuals seeking to improve their lives through the process of recovery


Initial Admission Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be at least 30 days clean
  • Must be working a program of recovery 
  • Must be a self admit addict/alcohol seeking long term-recovery

Some Program Expectations:

  • Obtain a sponsor, mentor or CPRS
  • Work, Volunteer, or attend school at least 30 hrs per week
  • Attend support meetings weekly
  • Attend a weekly house meeting
  • Be self-motivated and active in your recovery
